General I/O Units

Our general input/output units of the "GIO" series are intended for simple supervision and control tasks in electronic systems. Their system "SVIF-T" interface (see description) allow daisy-chaining of several GIO units as well as other coming equipment like fan subracks.
The units are highy configurable. Most IO pins can be configured as either inputs or outputs and some even as analog inputs. Each pin can be assigned a name, an alarm priority level (info, B-alarm or A-alarm), polarity and scaling parameters. The configuration is stored within the unit and can optionally be password protected.
All units are 50x75x27mm (excl. screw terminal blocks). The following units are planned:

The default configuration of the GIO-0 relay outputs are as A- and B-alarms, the unit then acts an alarm supervisor of the SVIF-T chain it is connected to - but they can also be used as general outputs.
The 3MAINS input of the GIO-2 unit act as mains voltage as well as phase order supervision.

Sensors:
The TE111 series of sensors were developed for use with the GIO series of products, but can also be used in other applications. For each model, there is number of versions possible having digital output at various threshold or linear output.

Fan Subracks


Our FSR1 series of fan subracks fit most applications for rack mount vertical air stream cooling. Their wide speed regulation range make them very powerful when needed, yet very quiet and low power consuming for normal conditions. The units can operate independently, but also allow full supervision and control via their SVIF-T (description) interface. Preliminary short form data:

A number of functions, such as speed regulation curve and failure handling, can be user reconfigured and protected against unauthorised further changes.
The design allows maximu specified air flow also at the minimum specified supply voltage.
The internal use of DC fans also in the 110-230V AC FSR1 versions gives several advantages: Planned start of production: Aug 2004.
